Under this program, OSDI aims to empower the under-privileged communities to improve their present living conditions. The primary purpose of this program is to alleviate poverty by increasing the income and saving potential of rural households; so they may come out from the inter-generational debt trap and proceed towards asset creation.

OSDI facilitates the beneficiary's with suitable resources such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides for agriculture harvesting and trains them about modern agriculture techniques and practices to improve their crop yields and increase their crop produce.

Similarly, livestock animals are distributed to beneficiaries who either do not own a farmland or are living in extremely vulnerable conditions. OSDI provides these beneficiaries with livestock management trainings for the better handling of animals. Moreover, educated and unemployed youth are provided with suitable opportunities to initiate their own small businesses.
