OSDI provides beneficiaries with primary agricultural resources including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides along with training in modern agricultural techniques and practices. This helps farming households improve crop yields and increase overall produce.
For beneficiaries who lack farmland or live in especially vulnerable conditions, OSDI distributes livestock animals as an alternative income source. Recipients also receive livestock management training to ensure proper animal care and handling, maximizing the long-term value of this support.
An important aspect of LAP is its dual focus on economic and social sustainability: alongside income generation, OSDI ensures that every out-of-school child in a beneficiary's household is enrolled in a nearby educational institution. In cases, where no school exists within a 3-kilometer radius, OSDI establishes its own Community Learning Center (CLC), focused on providing primary education ensuring that no beneficiary household is left without access to schooling for their children
