Increasing incomes and savings is critical in achieving economic growth and improving overall standard of living of individuals. However, in order to sustain this growth, availability and affordability of basic services is necessary for overall social development. Provision of health, education, clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, as well as presence of infrastructure such as roads and markets, are factors closely interlinked with economic progress. Accordingly, several initiatives have been launched within each of the aforementioned sectors so that communities can experience sustainable growth.
